Which documents should follow the application?

After you have scheduled an appointment with the Embassy, make sure to bring the following documents to your appointment.

Adults:

• Old passport.

Fee £40

Children between the ages of 12 and 18:

• 1 completed passport application form (see link under 'read more').
• Old passport.
• Both parents' passports. This also applies if one of the parents is not Norwegian.
• Both parents must sign page 2 of the application form.

If the old passport expired more than three months before renewal, please bring the birth certificate showing the names of both parents.

Fee for children aged 12-15: £25
Fee for children aged 16-18: £40

Children under the age of 12:

As passports to children under the age of 12 do not contain any biometric data it is possible to apply in person for a passport and personal number either at the Norwegian Embassy in London or at one of the Norwegian Consulates around the UK. Please bring the following documentation:

• 1 completed passport application form (see link under 'read more').
• One passport photograph without or glasses and with the mouth closed. The ears must be visible. It must be of good quality, taken against a light background, not older than 3 months, approx. 36x47mm.
• Old passport.
• Both parents' passports. This also applies if one of the parents is not Norwegian.
• Both parents must sign page 2 of the application form.

If the old passport expired more than three months before renewal, please bring the birth certificate showing the names of both parents.

Fee for children under the age of 12: £25

Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted. Children must be present when applying, and accompanied by one or both parents.

Payment
The embassy prefers payment by card. From 1 August 2015, it will no longer be possible to pay by cash or cheque.
