Brown holds talks with Norway's PM

Gordon Brown welcomed Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg to 10 Downing Street for talks on Tuesday 11 November.

The two leaders discussed a range of issues including the global financial crisis and the preparations for the G20 summit on the world economy to be held in Washington on 15 November. Brown and Stoltenberg also discussed the issues of climate change, energy and international development.

The two men are no strangers to each other and have cooperated closely over the past 10 years after they first met when they served as Minister of Finance and Chancellor of the Exchequer. They also had a bilateral meeting at Number 10 last year after Brown took office.
