Vacancy as locally employed at the Consulate Section

The Royal Norwegian Embassy has a vacancy at the Consulate Section with an early appointment. The vacancy is a part of the Consular team, which gives assistance to Norwegians abroad, visas and resident permits. Today the Consular team consist of four locally employees, and headed by a Consul.
We are 35 employees at the Embassy, of whom one third are delegates from The Foreign Ministry in Oslo and other Norwegian Authorities, and two thirds are locally employed.
Tasks:
- Consular issues
- Visas and resident permits
- Applications for passports
- Maritime issues
- General assistance to Norwegians in England
- Other tasks as instructed by the Head of Mission
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have good qualifications in English and Norwegian, both oral and in writing.
- ICT-qualifications
- Should have higher education. Relevant working experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Personal qualifications:
- Service minded
- Good communication- and cooperation skills
- Ability to work independently and tackle high pressure of work
- Orderly, punctuality and exactness.
