Welcome to the Royal Norwegian Embassy's newsletter for September!
Hide away your fashion faux pas and tidy up your room, because September is when the world’s fashionistas and trendy design crowds descend on London to tell us what to wear and how to decorate our houses.
This year’s 100% Norway exhibition at 100% Design, Earls Court, showcases the latest of Norwegian textiles, porcelain and glassware design. Around 20 designers have been invited to take part and there will be numerous exclusive world launches at the show.
If you haven’t already seen it, head down to the new Serpentine Pavilion in Kensington Gardens, which is designed by Norwegian architect Kjetil Thorsen from Snøhetta.
Finally, Norwegian fashion designers Kristian Aadnevik and Hilde Rubecksen both return to London Fashion Week to show their new collections. And for film lovers, don’t miss the award-winning ‘Reprise’ which screens at two cinemas in London. Whatever you do, enjoy it! |
