Welcome to the Royal Norwegian Embassy Newsletter for May!

Hip hip hooray - make sure you take part in the celebrations of Norway's Constitution Day on 17th May. The fun kicks off in Southwark Park, London, with a traditional children's parade and games - and you have the chance to taste Norwegian hot dogs and chocolate.

May and music go hand in hand. This month sees a Norwegian focus at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton with ten Norwegian artists performing, the members of the 80’s legendary a-ha will perform at Royal Albert Hall in London, and one of the forefathers of so-called nu-jazz Nils Petter Molvær, heads to the Bath International Music Festival.

Finally, don't miss Ibsen’s passionate love story ‘Rosmersholm’ showing at the Almeida Theatre in London, while Jon Fosse’s play about Mrs Ibsen, ‘Suzannah’, is on in Lewes, Sussex. Whatever you choose to do, enjoy it!
