Welcome to the Royal Norwegian Embassy's newsletter for July!

With your brollies still soaked, there are not many reasons to hang around outdoors for the moment, so here are some activities that will keep your feet dry over the next few weeks.

If you missed the stage-adaptation of Norwegian Oscar-nominated film ‘Elling’, which completely sold out at London’s Bush Theatre earlier this year, you’d be glad to know that the play has now transferred to the West End with the same critically acclaimed cast.

Simultaneously, in Manchester the official Grieg year celebrations come to an end with a gala performance of ‘Peer Gynt’. Norwegian artist Knut Henrik Henriksen is also exhibiting in the city. Back in London, there are a couple of exhibitions involving Norwegian artists that you can check out. And for those looking for some summer reading, get hold of a copy of Lars Saabye Christensen’s latest novel ‘The Model’. Whatever you choose to do, enjoy it!
