Pernille Leggat Ramsfelt's recent video work What I Want is With Me is a short sequence that involves reverie and tenderness, disquiet and resolution. A broken mirror immersed in water is gradually pieced back together. The piece captures a simple act, which becomes an elusive event of undoing, set between superstition and belief.

Her principle mode of production is film and the application of processes from different media. This has ranged from photography, drawing and print-making to exploring new processes that challenge the received ideas of film, particularly in relation to narrative.

Pernille Leggat Ramfelt was born in 1976 in Oslo and lives in London. This will be her first show in a public space in London.
