The celebrated, award-winning Norwegian pianist will perform pieces by Schumann and Schubert at Wigmore Hall 10 March.
10/03/2004 :: Leif Ove Andsnes was recently awarded the Norwegian Grammy award "Spellemannprisen 2003". An award given for his outstanding recording of Grieg/Schumann piano concertos with Mariss Jansons and the Berliner Philharmoniker, released on EMI Classics last year. The event took place in Oslo February 28 2004. Andsnes has been awarded a Norwegian Spellemannpris eight times.
