Norwegian courses in Open Studies at the University of Edinburgh

The Consulate General is delighted to announce that the University of Edinburgh has decided to run 'Norwegian 2' as of this autumn. The University already runs 'Norwegian 1'.

The courses are specifically designed for part-time students. Numbers are limited to 16 students per class. The course content and the pace of learning take adult learners’ requirements into account. Norwegian 1 and 2 are accredited by the University of Edinburgh at first year undergraduate level.

Starting date (for both classes): Wednesday 27 September 2006
Location: David Hume Tower, George Square

Norwegian 1
Tutor Guy Puzey MA (Hons)
For true and false beginners.
28 weeks 6.30pm to 8.30pm
£180/£126 (conc) per academic year if paid in total when enrolling (10% discount)  or £200 / £140 if trimesters are paid separately.

Norwegian 2
Tutor Kari Dickson BA MA
By the end of the year students should be able to communicate confidently on familiar and routine matters.
28 weeks 6.30pm to 8.30pm
