Christmas Dinner and Dance at The Balmoral Hotel

The annual Christmas Dinner and Dance will take place at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh on Friday 23rd November, 7 for 7.30pm.

The Royal Norwegian Consulate General takes great pleasure in inviting you to the traditional Norwegian Christmas Buffet Dinner & Dance.

The Yulebord will this year be held in the beautiful Sir Walter Scott Suite of the Balmoral Hotel including traditional Scottish/Norwegian Christmas food prepared by Michelin Awarded Head Chef, Jeff Bland. The music will be provided by one of Edinburgh’s finest Ceilidh/Dance Bands, The Canongate Cadgers.

The price includes a glass of "Gløgg" on arrival, a bottle of beer and a glass of aquavit with the meal.

The Lord Provost of The City of Edinburgh as well as The Convenor of Hordaland County Council have been invited as guests of honour.

Due to the limited number of seats, the principle of "first come first served" applies, as usual. Tickets will not be issued. However, should your reservation not be honoured, you will be informed immediately. The cost of the dinner is £36. - p.p.

On the night, there will be a Raffle and the main prizes are from ‘SAS/Widerøe’ & ‘Norwegian Airline’. The proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Sick Kids Hospital & Rachel House. Raffle tickets can be bought on the night.

Reservation can only be made together with payment.
