Tord Gustavsen Trio at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival

The Tord Gustavsen Trio represent a mix of gospel, blues, folk, New Orelans and jazz, and with appealing lyrics, they have impressed media, critics and fans in many countries world wide. As part of their UK tour, the Trio will be performing at the Edinburgh International Jazz & Blues Festival on the 31st July.

The trio comprises Tord Gustavsen on piano, Harald Johnsen on double-bass and Jarle Vespestad on drums. Together they have become very popular and received good reviews on their albums “The Ground” and “Changing Places”.

Tord Gustavsen Trio describe their music as “Music that sings, at once gentle and robust. Lyrical, immediately memorable songs, songs of an appealing freshness, yet sophisticated in their involvement with the melodic line.”
