Competition Winners Revealed

Following the annual Writing and Drawing competition, the Consulate General takes great pleasure in announcing the winners.

Hordaland County Council, in co-operation with the Department of Education (Edinburgh City Council) and the Norwegian Consulate General in Edinburgh annually organise a writing and drawing competition for children aged between 10-14. The theme is Norway and Scotland. This year, the optional theme of 'Norway's Centenary' was also added.

The Consulate General received a large amount of fantastic contributions in both the Drawing and Writing categories. However, the winners and runners-up in each category are as follows:

Mollie and Katy (along with their families) both won a trip to Norway, sponsored by Hordaland County Council. The winners were given their prizes at a Reception in the Edinburgh City Chambers hosted by Cllr. Donald Anderson.
