Norwegian Centennial Tartan

In connection with the Norwegian Centenary as an independant nation, Scottish Kilt Maker David McGill of International Tartans has designed a special tartan; the Norwegian Centennial Tartan.

This special tartan has been created to strenghten the bonds of kinship between Scotland and Norway. The colours stem from the Scottish Saltire flag and the Norwegian flag.

The tartan is registered with the Scottish Tartans World Registry as no. 3059.

The tartan can be woven from wool to make kilts and sashes, or made from silk in order to make ties, scarves, shawls, etc.
