The Haftor Medbøe group returns to Scotland at the end of March to perform their critically acclaimed jazz music.
With a line-up that has roots in Iceland, Norway, Poland and Australia, the Haftor Medbøe group transcends conventional boundaries and expectation. The group will perform their critically acclaimed Linn Records release, ‘In Perpetuity’ and brand new material from their forthcoming CD. Their music, which has been described as a ‘genre defying global sound (Glasgow Herald) and ‘a dazzling venture’ (jazzreview.com), creates grand melodic soundscapes, over infectious grooves.
As a special treat to the Scottish audience, each of these performances will for the first time be presented in glorious surround-sound.
The gigs feature support slots from the most exciting of local artists, Billy Bates and The Bradleys.
