NORSA in association with the Norwegian Consulate General invite you to join them for the traditional breakfast at Prestonfield House Hotel. The Breakfast will start at 09.45am

Prior to the breakfast they will climb Arthur’s Seat in order to plant the Norwegian flag at the peak. The assemblpoint is Dunsapie Loch at 7.00 am, and you are of course welcome to take part in this.

Before everyone eats at Prestonfield House Hotel, there will be a short ceremony. The Norwegian flag will be hoisted, the national anthem will be sung and the traditional speeches will be held. About 200 people attend annually, and NORSA aim to make this breakfast a very special occasion, as it has been in previous years.

At 12 noon, coaches will take everyone to the Mound. From there the parade will depart at 1.00 p.m. The parade will end in West Princes Street Gardens, where there will be held a short ceremony by the Royal Norwegian Consul General and the Student Chaplain. Afterwards there will be arranged games for children of all ages. Please feel free to bring along any guests.

If you would like to attend, please print this page and send along with payment to the President of NORSA, Sophie Sterud. The address is included below.
