Norwegian Golfer on Top

Suzann “Tutta” Pettersen demonstrates that Norwegian sport is not solely about cross-country skiing and snowboarding. The ambitious golfer recently won a major, and is now aiming at the top in the US Open.

The 26-years old player proved for a whole world that Norwegian golfing is definitely on the map. Pettersen reached the top with her new title as this year’s champion of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tournament on the Bulle Rock Golf Course in Maryland, USA.

US Open
At the beginning of the season, Pettersen was ranked as number 51.  After the major-triumph she is now positioned amongst the best female golfers in the world. Her next target is victory in the US Open.

"Now I only see challenges and no limitations. The next goal is to win the US Open in three weeks time," Pettersen told Aftenposten, the largest broadsheet paper in Norway.

The ambitious Oslo-golfer started to swing her club at the age of six. She has been a professional player for five years and is currently resided in Florida, USA.
