Former postal service employee Thomas Hansen, now better known as the recording artist St. Thomas, has established himself as one of the most successful artists in Norway. He tours the UK 3 - 10 May.
Though critically appraised he has found himself in the spotlight of many small scandals, such as playing with his back to the audience and threatening to beat up the director of his record company.
"Let's Grow Together - The Comeback of St Thomas" is Thomas Hansen's 4th album release for Racing Junior records. It's also the sound of a man in control. Recorded in Norway in the middle of nowhere over just four days, the LP features 13 songs about one-night stands, growing up in 70s Norway and bus rides in the USA. Thomas plays almost all of the instruments and takes a co-production role. With help from Karim Sayed (drums) and Robert Jønnum, this is the sound of Norway's urban cosmic cowboy.
