Singer/song-writer Robert Post will perform for his UK fans at venues across the country in September and October.
Post's self-titled debut album has received good reviews in the UK after its release on 29 August. Legendary producer Mike Hedges, who has produced everyone from The Cure to Manic Street Preachers, cleared his schedule to record the album and it was even recorded through the original EMI mixing desk used for Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon’.
Robert Post has been involved in music for many years with one of the songs on his album dating back to the early 1990s. At the heart of the record is a classic songwriter whose myriad of influences, from The Beatles to Kiss to Radiohead, display a talent that understands what makes a great song.
Recent shows in London have added to Post's reputation as a live performer that is best explained by the fact that American singer Aimee Mann personally asked him to extend the amount of dates he was playing on her tour as he impressed her so much. His new UK tour starts and finishes in London, but will also include visits to Scotland and the other major cities in England where he will also support British band Texas.
