Lionheart Brothers return to the UK

 Date:25/03/2008 - 04/04/2008
 Type:Culture
 Location:England

Norwegian band The Lionheart Brothers, who released their second album ‘Dizzy Kiss’ in the UK on 14 January, are back in March for more concerts following their gigs in January.

Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, The Lionheart Brothers are sending shivers down the backs of the hardened internet bloggers across the globe. Comprising two members from Serena Maneesh, The Lionheart Brothers are a widescreen, psychedelic colossus that take in and juxtapose the expanse and serenity of Slowdive and Mercury Rev with the blissful chamber pop and 60s technicolour of Brian Wilson.

The Lionheart Brothers have impressed the music world with their new album, which has received great reviews in the British media, including ‘pop CD of the week’ by the Sunday Times in January.
“Steep-gradient dreampop and lo-fi loveliness. The bridge between Camden and California.” – The Guardian

“Motorik beats, fuzz bass and crazy feedback-laced jams… mind-blowing” – NME

“Gorgeous psychedelic pop” – The Word Magazine

“A dreamy, swirling affair...a new favourite band” – Music Week
