Introducing The Lionheart Brothers…

 Date:10/04/2007 - 12/04/2007
 Type:Culture, Music
 Location:England, London

Norwegian band The Lionheart Brothers, who will tour the UK this spring, have just released a new album ‘Dizzy Kiss’ in Norway with great sucsess in the charts and are now also becoming a favourite in the Rough Trade shops in UK.

13/03/2007 :: Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, The Lionheart Brothers are sending shivers down the backs of  the hardened internet bloggers across the globe. Comprising two members of Serena Maneesh, The Lionheart Brothers are a widescreen, psychedelic colossus that take in and juxtapose the expanse and serenity of Slowdive and Mercury Rev with the blissful chamber pop and 60s technicolour of Brian Wilson.

The band have a 7”, ‘A Hero Anthem’ set for UK release 30 April. ‘Hero Anthem’ finds the band at their most beguiling; all swirling organs and dreamy hooks. The single is taken from their forthcoming LP ‘Dizzy Kiss’, which went straight into the Top 15 on week of release in their native Norway. The B-side features a simmering cover of 10,000 Maniacs’ ‘My Mother The War’.
