Norwegian band The Lionheart Brothers, who have just released a new album ‘Dizzy Kiss’ in Norway with great sucsess in the charts, are back in the UK for more concerts foolowing their gigs in April.
Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, The Lionheart Brothers are sending shivers down the backs of the hardened internet bloggers across the globe. Comprising two members of Serena Maneesh, The Lionheart Brothers are a widescreen, psychedelic colossus that take in and juxtapose the expanse and serenity of Slowdive and Mercury Rev with the blissful chamber pop and 60s technicolour of Brian Wilson.
The band have a 7”, ‘A Hero Anthem’ set for UK release 30 April. ‘Hero Anthem’ finds the band at their most beguiling; all swirling organs and dreamy hooks. The single is taken from their forthcoming LP ‘Dizzy Kiss’, which went straight into the Top 15 on week of release in their native Norway. The B-side features a simmering cover of 10,000 Maniacs’ ‘My Mother The War’.
