Ida Maria at Camden Crawl 2008

 Date:18/04/2008 - 19/04/2008

Norwegian rock sensation Ida Maria will be performing at the Red Stripe Camden Crawl 2008 on 18 and 19 April. She will also return to the UK in May for another eight gigs.

The rock chick from Nesna, Norway, hit headlines in 2006 when she won the Norwegian national radio station NRK P3’s talent competition ‘Urørt’ (Untouched), and has since then taken the music world by storm. Ida Maria and her band have had several concerts in the UK in 2008, as well as making an appearance on ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ on BBC 2 in February and for an interview on Channel 4 in March. Later this spring Ida Maria will also perform at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. She has released two singles in the UK so far in 2008, and she does not seem to be slowing down, as she returns to Camden for the Crawl in April and with more gigs in May.
