Up and coming Scottish/Norwegian electro outfit ÅsA has taken time out from recording its second album to play live on Saturday 17 December at Junktion 7 in Nottingham.

Based in Edinburgh, ÅsA takes its name (pronounced Orsa) from lead singer Åsa Seljestad who is of Norwegian/Welsh descent. The band released its debut album earlier this year and is currently working on and recording a second album. ÅsA has also received interest from Norwegian producers Stephan Erik Smirou and Jørund Andreas Berg, aka Digicoustic, who are based in Bergen. Digicoustic has taken the track 'Breathe Again' from ÅsA’s debut album 'On/Off' and remixed it. 'Breathe Again' (Le petite remix) is included on 'Digicoustic Sounds', an album that brings together tracks from all over Europe.

At Junktion 7, the band Swimming will be hosting the evening and other musical guests include Wireless Stones and We Show Up Radar.
