A Special evening with Morten Harket, Savoy and Magne F

 Date:23/05/2008 - 24/05/2008

 Location:England

The members of the acclaimed Norwegian band a-ha, will give three separate performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday 24 May.

19/05/2008 :: This is not an a-ha concert; it is Morten Harket, Savoy and Magne F performing separately. You will get three performances for the price of one, in quite an unusual combination. It cannot be promised that these three artists will join forces, as they have been known to do on other festive occasions around the world, but there is widespread speculation of some sort of special appearance.

Since a-ha landed their first worldwide record deal with Warner Brothers in 1983, the trio has become one of the most successful Norwegian music exports. With hits such as ‘Take on me’, the band has become a symbol of 80’s pop to many people. However, by the mid-90’s all three band members were also pursuing individual projects, Morten and Magne with solo projects, while Paul and wife Lauren were in the group Savoy. Although a-ha is still making music together today, with the most recent album ‘Analogue’ released in 2006, they have also established themselves as individual artist.

One word of caution: If you expect to see a regular show by the musical group known as a-ha, we kindly ask you to wait for the next scheduled performance convenient to your location.

Magne F will also appear at Notting Hill Arts Club for a solo show on 23 May.
