Norwegian jazz duo to London in December

Norwegian musicians Arne Hiorth and Helge Nysted will be playing four jazz-influenced Christmas concerts in London in December. They will perform music from their album ‘Snow’, which is a collection of well-known traditional Norwegian and international Christmas songs.

Arne Hiort, who plays flugelhorn, has been a studio and theatre musician for more than 25 years, and is also an experienced composer and producer. In recent years he has been working on his own projects. His debut album was released in 2004.

Helge Nysted, who plays the grand piano, has worked as a pianist and producer for many years. He has a master degree in music from the University of Oslo. Together with his brother he runs the production company Dryhill Productions.

Their critically acclaimed album ‘Snow’, which was released in 2006, has been mixed by Jan Erik Kongshaug. After touring with the album in the UK the duo will continue to New York, before they returning to Norway.

The jazz duo will perform four concerts in London in December:
