 Date:07/07/2004 - 11/07/2004
 Type:Exhibition
 Location:Oxon

Jannicke Ebbing returns to the Henley Festival with a new body of work, after her sell-out show in 1999 when she exhibited for the first time a series of ceramic figureheads commissioned by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Jannicke Ebbing has worked with images and scenes from plays by writers like Shakespeare, Moliére and Holberg. Her interpretations of the scenes and characters are presented in specially designed black or haogany boxes. The figurines, dressed and backgrounds are all uniquely hand-made by the artist. The fine details in her work reflect the artist's vivid imagination. acute eye and craftsmanship.

This spring the Norwegian government chose a large work by Jannicke Ebbing as their christening gift to Princess Alexandra - the future Queen of Norway.
