Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre was in London on 2 – 3 March attending the conference 'A Statesman Dialogue' and to meet his British counterpart David Miliband.
The conference, which was held at Lancaster House, was initiated by Sam Nunn, Henry Kissinger and George Schultz, among others, and had a focus on nuclear disarmament. Earlier in the week, Mr Støre also opened the international conference ‘Achieving the Vision of a World Free of Nuclear Weapons’, which was held in Oslo on 26 – 27 February.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister met with the British Foreign Secretary, David Miliband on 3 March. The two ministers met for breakfast to discuss the situation in Kosovo, the NATO meeting and the Middle East, among other topics.
