From sixteen semi-finalists, the dance duo h2dance has been selected to compete to win the most prestigious prize in British dance - the Place Prize. In April, h2dance and the other finalists returns to Robin Howard Dance Theatre to perform to win the prize.

Each night, the audience will vote for their favourite performance. A panel of esteemed judges will announce the overall winner, who will win the £25 000 prize, after the final performance on 27 April.

The performance DUET investigates the two P's; pairs and power. Being on the verge of a breakup, Hanna and Heidi have decided to take up couple therapy. After 13 years together the two choreographers take a brutally honest look at themselves revealing a confused and disillusioned relationship. The constant quest for power and admiration has taken it's toll. Will they still be together after the Place Prize? Will there even be a show? DUET is a humorous and provocative investigation into life as a twosome.

h2dance was founded in 1999 and presents the joint choreography of Artistic Directors Hanne Gillgren (Sweden) and Heidi Rustgaard (Norway). Together they produce provocative performance work that addresses political issues with humour and emotion. The company works in collaboration with interdiciplinary teams and local communities to create evocative performances that challenge and respond to the audience.
