The quartet known as Superbolt Theatre, consisting of two Norwegian actors and two fellow graduates form Lecoq in Paris, is coming to London with performances of ”Centralia”.
Centralia, which runs at the George Tavern from 3 October to 15 October, is a take on the abandoned town Centralia, Pennsylvania. In Centralia, an underground coal fire started burning in the early 60s, causing crevices in the ground and gazes polluting the town. Today, the fire is still burning, and after 50 years of people moving out, only four still live there. In the show "Centralia", the four remaining people have decided to use all their talents and skills to show the world what place they live in and who they really are.
Superbolt Theatre’s two Norwegian actors, Frode Gjerløw and Andreas Medbøe Thoresen, are both experienced within the world of acting. Gjerløw has more than 13 years of experience in theatre, film and TV, and Thoresen has worked with various theatre companies in both Norway and abroad.
