Get up-close-and-personal with Thor and Odin!

Heidi Dahlsveen

Norwegian storyteller Heidi Dahlsveen heads to London’s Unicorn Theatre to lead audiences through the wildly imaginative landscape of Norse creations by retelling enchanting tales of Viking myths.

Together with British storyteller Ben Haggarty, Dahlsveen will wander through an overwhelming world of wolves, giants and axe blades. They’ll tell bitterly comedic stories of wise and foolish Gods, the treacherous trickster Loki, and our ancestors. It is an intoxicating cinema of the imagination.

The events is organized by The Crick Crack Club whose team is small, busy, enthusiastic and has been the driving force for the re-visioning of storytelling as a contemporary performance art for over 20 years.

Six days in a row the two storytellers will present a wild haven of fairytales, myth and epic in “Viking Myths: Riding the Horse of Odin”. The story is suitable for families, with children aged 7 + and school parties.

2-7 February, 11am and 1.30pm weekdays; 2pm and 4pm Saturday; 2pm Sunday.
