The opera Il Segreto Di Susanna (Susanna’s Secret), which features Norwegian pianist John Lidal, is coming to London in November.
Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s witty and delightful comedy of manners was composed in 1910, and set in the bourgeois household of Gil and his wife Susanna. Susanna’s Secret is an enchanting musical confection with a satirical sting in its tail.
Il Segreto Di Susanna is directed by John Savournin from Opera Cabaret Company, and features Alenka Ponjavić as Susanna, Andreas Franzen as Susanna’s husband Gil and Norwegian John Lidal on piano.
For the newest information on the performance, see either the twitter or facebook page for Susanna’s Secret.
