Up-and-coming band to In The City 2007

Norwegian band Blind Archery Club has been selected to play an official In The City Unsigned showcase at this yea’s festival in Manchester.

ITC is the biggest city based music festival in Europe and takes place in Manchester from 20-22October.

Blind Archery Club has been labelled one of the most exciting new bands in Norway. Their debut album 'The Union' has so far produced four radio singles, the highlight being 'Off The Deep End' reaching No. 4 in the Norwegian national airplay chart. After a long summer of touring Europe, playing major Norwegian festivals and gaining a following from Holland to Japan, the band is now making their first visit to Britain.

Manchester hosts the biggest city-based music festival in Europe where the music industry stands side-by-side with music fans in the hope of catching a glimpse of the next big thing.

Once again, the main event of In The City – ITC Unsigned – will centre around the bars and venues of Peter Street, with over 60 of the world’s best new bands vying for attention. Complemented by official and international showcases as well as a vast and varied array of fringe events taking place all over Manchester, 2007 promises to be the biggest and most exciting In The City ever.
