The award-winning Trondheim Soloists make a long-awaited return to London on 29 October with new trumpetist Tine Thing Helseth.

One of Norway’s most exciting young ensembles makes their return to London with a concert at Cadogan Hall 29 October. The Trondheim Soloists has established itself as one of the most innovative chamber groups in Norway, celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2008. The orchestra has toured widely in Europe and Asia, and has also released new CDs with Anne Sophie Mutter and been selected as Editor’s Choice in Gramophone Magazine as well as Record of the Month in Classic FM Magazine.

Coming to London with the Trondheim Soloists is Tine Thing Helseth, and award-winning trumpetist and winner of the Norwegian Young Musician of the Year Competition in 2006. Thing Helseth has also been awarded the Borletti Buitoni Fellowship for 2009.

The programme will include repertoire from the Trondheim Soloists’ recent recordings.
