Norwegian author Stig Sæterbakken will attend a panel disccussion on European literature, 26th of October at Europe House, London
The panel discussion is in relations with Dalkey Archives Press’ launch of the Swiss Literature Series, and Swiss-French writer Bernard Comment, Slovenian novelist Drago Jančar and art critic, editor and curator Jasia Reichardt will join Sæterbakken on the panel. The discussion, which will be moderated by broadcaster and BBC presenter Rosie Goldsmith, will be about the new anthology Best European Fiction 2012, the first released books in the Swiss Literature Series and ideas about European literature in general.
The Swiss Literature Series at Dalkey Archive Press works to make Swiss literature in English translation available, and to introduce Swiss writing and culture to English-language readers. The first two books in this series are Isle of the Dead by Gerhard Meier and Why the Child is Cooking in the Polenta written by Aglaja Veteranyi.
