Norwegian children's film at the Barbican
On November 23rd, the successful Norwegian children's film 'The Ten Lives of Titanic the Cat' will be screened at the Barbican during the London Children’s Film Festival.
The Norwegian movie 'The Ten Lives of Titanic the Cat' was a huge hit with children in Norway and will now be screened in London. In the film, Liv gets her greatest wish fulfilled as a birthday present. She will travel with the ferry to Denmark with her whole family and fly a helicopter. However, right before the departure, Liv and her best friend Thomas find a secret room in the basement, and mystical events start taking place. Is someone trying to tell her something? In any case, there is certainly more between heaven and earth than what meets the eye.
The Ten Lives of Titanic the Cat is Grethe Bøe's feature film debut. Her track record shows broad experience from both film and television. She has previously directed commercials, short fiction films and television drama.
The London Children’s Film Festival shows a large number of films from around the world, it is now their 4th anniversary.
