Norwegian designer label Elton & Jacobsen, which consists of two sisters, have produced ladieswear for TOPSHOP's latest pop-up boutique project at their Oxford Circus store.
Launching at the beginning of February, TOPSHOP’s Oxford Circus store now hosts ‘EDIT’ a pop-up boutique showcasing a collective of young international designers, including Elton & Jacobsen. Created by Solveig and Åshild Elton Jacobsen, their clothes are known for their futuristic, modern use of a dark colour palette. Elton & Jacobsen draws inspiration from art, science fiction, drama queens, sport and street style, and their collections are a mix of sporty and dressed up styles. They are a member of Ethical Trading Initiative Norway and aim to translate an attitude towards sustainability through the use of quality fabrics and innovative design.
‘EDIT’ provides another opportunity for TOPSHOP to nurture emerging talent and we are proud to now be able to support new international designers offering them a platform from which to promote their work. Previously the New Gen’ sponsorship scheme has achieved global recognition for bolstering the careers of some of the most exciting design talents in London today.
The concept-collection will be available exclusively at TOPSHOP for a limited 8 week period and will launch in two separate phases both available for four weeks; phase one will be available February 15th and phase two from March 15th.
