The Department of Architecture at Strathclyde University are hosting the only Scottish exhibition featuring the unique work of one of the greatest independent architectural practices, Reiulf Ramstad Architects. The Exhibition is called Transforming Landscapes and will run from 6 February until 2 March.

Most of RRA’s commissions have been won by participating in open or invited competitions, winning awards in two thirds of the competitions entered. This demonstrates RRA’s conceptual and academic strength as commissions with very unique briefs further develop their ability to solve extremely diverse assignments.

Transforming Landscapes highlights architectural projects located in a variety of urban developments, park and river landscapes and illustrates the transformation of cultivated and natural environments. These stunning images will reveal the practice’s contemporary solutions to the challenges of commissions situated in landscapes ranging from wild magnificent scenery to cultivated land.
