Close to 30 student artists will display their works at the NorskArt 2008, which will run from 28 – 31 May 2008 at the Menier Gallery in London.
NorskArt is an annual exhibition in London showcasing some of Norwegian student talents in the arts. Since it is difficult to make a mark in a competitive metropolis like London, NorskArt aims to provide interested Norwegian students studying in the UK with the venue and the opportunity to be in the spotlight.
The NorskArt organising committee is especially pleased with the number of talents and the great diversity of contributions to the 2008 exhibit. A plethora of artistic media-photo, sculpture, documentary filmmaking, painting, drawing, graphic design, clothing design, textiles, illustration and jewellery will all be represented.
The event is a student production and everyone involved is a member of ANSA, the Association of Norwegian Students Abroad. The exhibit is a not-for-profit event where the goal is to provide everyone with a great experience on the Norwegian art scene.
