The Norwegian painter and designer Bjørn Berg will publish some of his finest pieces of art at Camden Art Gallery in October.

Berg’s paintings can be read as processes and essences of explorations, based on themes such as time, parallels and of course life, death and desire. As Berg himself says, he is driven by “… an urge for visuality and a creative joy is the basic force. As a painter I can be an explorer of unknown worlds, of connections between people and all sorts of communications… I am interested in what we see, how we see it and how I see it. In my paintings I can make my stand, paint my view”.

Bjørn Berg is a Norwegian designer who in 1990 established Identicon Design, an agency working with design solutions. He is now moving into the world of arts, spending more and more time in his studio painting. Earlier exhibitions include Galleri Altersten in Stockholm and several galleries in Norway.
