The Revolution will be Nordic

As Scotland tries to find its way in a global economy in crisis Nordic Horizons ask if the Nordic Model offers a way towards a more stable and just society. Join the round-table discussion which will look at the strengths and weaknesses of the Nordic approach to social and economic policy, the question of whether there is still one 'Nordic Model' or many, and whether the distinctive Nordic approach to society-building has something to offer Scotland and the UK.

Special guest speaker will be Dr Mary Hilson of University College London, author of 'The Nordic Model: Scandinavia since 1945'. The event will be chaired by Lesley Riddoch, writer, research student and broadcaster and is being kindly sponsored by John Park MSP.

The event will be photographed for the Nordic Horizons website and Facebook page.

This is a free event. However, for reasons of capacity and the provision of tea and coffee, registration is necessary. Please see website for details on how to register.
