A unique production of three of Strindberg's most fascinating one-act plays will be performed at this year Edinburgh Festival at Sweet at the Crowne Plaza, 2nd –15th August at 14:45.
Pariah - Two men, both having committed a terrible crime struggle with their guilt.
The Stronger - One is the wife, the other the mistress – but who is the stronger in this classic match between two women in a café on Christmas Eve.
The First Warning - A grotesque and hilarious comedy about love, jealousy and adolescent attraction.
These brand new translations directed by Swedish Marie Parker Shaw were very successfully previewed at the Company's Launch at the Embassy of Sweden in London earlier this year.
Nordic Theatre Company is a London based company formed by two Scandinavian directors well established in the British Theatre World; Christina Anthony-Collins (from Denmark) and Marie Parker Shaw (from Sweden). The aims of the company are to promote and preserve Scandinavian literature and drama, classical as well as modern.
