Bodø University College is introducing the following new study programmes in 2009:

BUC is a modern university college in Bodø in the north of Norway. The college, which has recently applied to be awarded University status, has about 5,000 students, including 250 international students.  The campus is compact, offering great facilities for students, and is set in an area of beautiful scenery among fjords and mountains. There are no tuition fees for higher education in Norway, just a small semester fee.

The city of Bodø is situated just above the Arctic Circle at 67°N. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, this stretch of the Norwegian coast has a surprisingly mild climate despite its high latitude. Bodø is the county capital of Nordland and and important administrative, commercial, cultural and transport centre for the north of Norway.
