100% Norway 2009

Criteria for the selection of exhibitors to 100% Norway 2009

Manufacturers and designers were only eligible for participation at this year's 100% Norway if they could document the UK as a target market. Furthermore, all products had to be designed by a Norwegian designer, and those products produced by Norwegian manufacturers would be prioritised where possible.

With these criteria in mind, curator Henrietta Thompson, design editor with Wallpaper*, and co-curator Benedicte Sunde from the Centre for Design & Architecture in Oslo, considered a large number of products. Those deemed most suitable for the British design market were selected to take part.
As always at 100% Norway, the curator and co-curator have made sure that there is a mix of furniture and home accessories. The exhibition will feature both new and recent launches as well as some relaunches. In addition, there will be a number of older products on display with the purpose of showing how new products fit in an overall collection.
The final decision on exhibitors and products was made on 15 April. Any other products brought to the attention of the curator and co-curator after this date will be considered for participation next year.
